D&B were a couple from Melbourne looking to add a few properties to their portfolio and were very keen on getting into the buoyant Sunshine Coast property market, specifically leveraging off some of the large scale infrastructure and facilities projects going on on the Sunny Coast. The Sunshine Coast’s hospital precinct project in Kawana/Birtinya is the largest health care project going on in Australia and is one of a number of projects in the region and D&B were keen to find a property in or around this area.
The property we purchased, in Birtinya, was a brand new, fully completed luxury duplex, more like a house, with it’s own street frontage and no body corporate fees. The property was just a few minutes from the major hospitals and with high end fittings and a large open luxurious feel to it, we knew that it would be great property to attract high quality tenants.
We were able to secure tenants on this property before the property even settled and the great thing about property in this area being so modern is that the yields are great at around 5%.
