C&M were seasoned investors seeking long-term capital growth with a budget of up to $600k.  Looking within 15km of the Brisbane CBD, they were after a property that would be immediately rentable with minimal work, and was located close to infrastructure and services such as transport, shops, and education.

The Property

The property we purchased was an adorable 3-bedroom house only 5km from the Brisbane CBD, and a fantastic 4min walk to a train station.  With a solid frame, but in need of some TLC, we were able to secure this property prior to auction for a great inner-city price.  Soon after settlement, we got to work arranging to have the floors polished and moved a key section of interior wall to enhance the floor-plan.  With a few more minor cosmetic touches, the transformation was complete, and the property was ready for the rental market.
