The Project

David and Francine had been looking for a new home for a few months on their own before seeking our assistance. It was a very tough market in terms of low stock and high competition, so their frustration was well founded!  

The aim was for a property within 15km of the Brisbane CBD, on a good sized block, with room for a pool and either renovated or very liveable with good scope to improve.  Budget for the project was up to $1.4m.

The Property

The property was a highset character style home in a cul-de-sac off Lutwyche Rd around 6.5km to the city.  The house was on a good sized block at 483m2 and was set up for dual living with kitchen upstairs and downstairs.  The 4x2x2 home was modernised and very liveable with great scope to improve and renovate to a higher standard again in future.

  • Listing Price: Auction, Estimate price range $1.2 – $1.3m
  • Purchase Price: Purchased at auction for $1.28m
  • Estimated rental: $600-650pw
