D&B were experienced investors based in Melbourne.  They were looking to buy several properties across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. This particular purchase they were looking to spend up to $600k around the new hospital precinct on the Sunshine Coast.  They were looking for a new to near new property that would have good depreciation, high yield and be low maintenance whilst being sought after by tenants and in an area showing good growth potential.

The Property:

The property we purchased was a brand new townhouse in Birtinya, one of only two on the corner block.  They were essentially separate dwellings with their own street frontage and no body corporate fees.  The property had been built to a high standard to appeal to the professionals in the area and was a 5 minute walk to the new hospitals in Kawana.  Being new, the depreciation was good and the tenant appeal was high with it’s high end touches, such as a huge master bedroom suite and large open plan living area.
