J&K were inter-state investors seeking greater than 5% yield, and with a budget of up to $375k.  Looking within 30km of the Brisbane CBD, they were after a property that would be immediately rentable, and close to shops and transport connections.  Having weighed up several locations around Brisbane, they selected several Logan suburbs that met their criteria.

The Property

The property we purchased was not your standard low-set brick.  The previous owner had completed extensive renovations including new flooring, interior paint, and completely new kitchen and bathroom.  This also extended to a full external render, giving it a clean and modern feel throughout.  Situated in a quiet suburban location with a bus route and local shopping centre nearby, this home had great potential as a long-term family rental.  Having been on the market for a number of months, we were able to make a reasonable offer, and secure the property for J&H at a good price.
