Some of you may know that sailing is a passion of mine and this year I get a chance to achieve one of my life goals, to sail in the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.
I’m sooooo EXCITED!!
I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have been given a position on ‘Climate Action Now’, Lisa Blair‘s Hick Open 50 racing boat, in which she recently completed a tough circumnavigation of Antartica. Lisa Blair has put together the first all-female crew in the S2H race in sixteen years and has selected a group of experienced female sailors to mentor a group of less experienced sailors (including me!), increasing awareness around Climate Change. Lisa is working in partnership with The Magenta Project which aims to “accelerate women in sailing and the marine industry by creating pathways, empowering leadership and driving change in the sport.”

This year will be the 73rd running of the 628 nautical mile blue water classic. We’ll be lining up with another 106 yachts, including a range of international boats, supermaxis, celebrity crew members, professional racers and many a weekend sailor taking on the race again or for the first time.
I’ll be keeping the Property Zest Facebook page updated (via my shore support team) of our progress, so if you aren’t following our facebook page, then get on it!
